Well, It's June 19th... I somehow managed to go another two months without posting. oops.

I've officially been living on my own for about a month and a half and let me tell you... its been A BLAST! it's honestly so much fun and I've been enjoying every single moment of it. I mean, I get to see this cutie every single day, so... how could it get any better? Seriously though, having Capri as my roommate has been the greatest blessing. I am so happy to have her and for the opportunity that we've had to become such good friends. She's helped me get out of my comfort zone, try new things, and work on a lot of things that I've been meaning to. She's an AMAZING example and she's just so darn cute.

MAY

Lets see, May brought a lot of fun adventures and making a lot of new friends. The first day I moved to my apartment I saw Collin and Pete and they actually ended up helping me move. It was the first time I had seen them since... you know. So I didn't really know how to act. But I think it went well.

Sam, Tayler, and all of them threw the best BBQ at their house and I met a lot of fun and cool people. It's always a good time when I get to see Sammy J and Nana :)

OH YES! I went on an un-official date with one of my co-workers and it was tons of fun! We're both super different but I had a really good time talking with him and just getting to know him. We were supposed to go on another date, but casual, we didn't haha... but it's totally fine.

I did get the awesome privelege of meeting the future ELDER JERONIMO! I mean, he's no Hermana Jeronimo, but he's pretty close and he's pretty cool :)

No but really, I loved meeting Freddy and being able to spend a couple of hours with him, Carol and Marrisa before we had to take him to the MTC. CASUAL. He's going to the same mission where my cousin Danny is serving! (Montreal, Canada) Unfortunately Freddy leaves for Canada the day Danny comes home so they won't get to meet :( But it's okay! Also side note!! Danny comes home THIS WEEK! I'm so excited to see him again and to see what kind of man he's turned into :)

For a solid two weeks, Capri and I had to go to the Boys and Girls club as much as we could to get enough service hours for Guatemala. I would get off work at 3 and go until 6. It was a lot and a little overwhelming at times, but i'm so grateful for the time that I was able to serve there and get to know all of these amazing kids. I told them that I'd go back to visit them... but I just haven't gotten around to it yet. But I am planning on going for at least an hour every week because I miss them so much!

May also means GRADUATIONS and this year I had TWO cousins Graduating!

My darling Michelle Graduated from Lone Peak High and Alan graduated from Timpanogos High school. I'm so proud of both of them and for completing this huge stage of their lives. I'm excited to see where life takes them and see what impact they will have on the world and to those around them. Going to their graduations made me really stop and think about all that I've done since I graduated 4 years ago. It's crazy how fast time flies, like the great Ferris Bueller once said, "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." I'm trying to stop, look around and just enjoy every moment that I've been given.

OKAY. Moving on. Probably the Greatest thing that's happened to me since the last time I blogged... I GOT MY HAIR DONE.

Okay, maybe not the greatest thing that's happened, but it was pretty exciting. I got some highlights and went lighter and I am still OBSESSED haha. Courtney did an amazing job! I don't know what it is, but there's something about getting your hair done that makes you feel SO GOOD. I honestly felt so much more confident about myself and just felt so bomb.

Moving on for reals this time. My dear friend Gabby got married! She was my best friend in High school and she was always the quiet one from our group of friends who never had a boyfriend, I don't think she ever kissed a boy actually. But her ward threw her the coolest bridal shower where they seriously hooked her up for life. About two weeks after that we as her friends threw her a bachelorette party and OH MY. I hadn't laughed so much in such a long time. It was so good to get together with my friends from high school and just catch up and laugh again :) Her reception was at this beautiful house somewhere in Sandy. There was a huge garden in the back with a waterfall, a river, bridge, gazebo, the who shebang. it was so awesome! The actual wedding was basically a mini high school reunion but it was so much fun! I took more pictures with Andrea than with the actual bride and groom but it's okay. Look at this cute companion of mine :) It was really good to see her and catch up and just talk about life for a bit.

The last week of May was busy, eventful and so much fun. To begin... ELDER TAUFATOFUA is finally home! I had so much fun at his homecoming! My desire to marry a Polynesian only grew haha. I mean... the food, the flowers, the leis, the music, the dancing, EVERYTHING is perfect. Just like all other homecomings, it was just good to see my mission friends again (like if I didn't see them often enough haha).

It was also Memorial day weekend, so we made sure to make the most of it! We spent the morning hiking with some mission friends, work friends and new and old ward friends. We hiked up to Stewart falls and it was so much fun! Yeah it was packed but it was fun.

I also went to watch the new Pirates of the Caribbean with Capri and OH MY HECK. All the freaking feels during the entire movie. I was literally screaming and squirming in my seat the entire time. I could not contain my joy and excitement haha. I had for a moment forgotten how much I loved those movies. Definitely one to re watch over and over again for as long as I live. **Spoiler** Will and Emma make the best looking children haha.

That Saturday I spent basically all day with my darling friend Carol :) We went to ride hot air balloons early in the morning but it turned more into waiting in line for a solid 2-3 hours just for them to tell us that they weren't going to be able to give us all rides. But it's okay, we went and hiked the Y mountain because Carol had never hiked it. I honestly don't like that hike at all but I went for my friend. And i'm glad I did :) It was hard, challenging, but it was rewarding in the end.

Later that day, Capri invited us to a BBQ at her house in Cedar Hills and it was so much fun! We watched the firework show afterwards and it was BOMB! I've never enjoyed fireworks so much in my life haha

OKAY. That's all for today. It's getting late and I feel like i've been going at this for hours now. I promise i'll come back later this week to write about June and how incredible it's been!
