So this year for 4th of July my family and I went to Ramah, New Mexico. Don't know where that is...? Don't worry about it. It's literally in the middle on nowhere. But it's so beautiful and peaceful.

We went to NM because that's where Kris is from and her parents still have their house there. The main reason for the trip was for the blessing of the beautiful Isabel Arella Chacon.

Okay, Isn't she the cutest baby ever?! I had such a fun weekend with my nieces and nephew. I literally spent the ENTIRE weekend with Oliver by my side and it was THE BEST! He's probably the cutest 3 year old I've ever met. But then again i'm probably being bias because he's my only nephew.

We spent the entire weekend eating, playing games, hiking, going on walks, watching movies, kayaking, swimming, lighting fireworks and just spending time together as a family. I feel so blessed to know that I get to be with all of them FOREVER.

It was a super fun, relaxed, and happy weekend spent with all the people that I love. I'll be honest, I was a bit bummed that I had to come back to Utah to go to work and... well mostly just work haha but i'm happy for the time I had to be with my family.
Quick spiritual thought for the week: I got an email from a missionary that's serving in my mission and he shared this with us...
"You may feel that your life is in ruins. You may have sinned. You may be afraid, angry, grieving, or tortured by doubt. But just as the Good Shepherd finds His lost sheep, if you will only lift up your heart to the Savior of the world, He will find you.
He will rescue you.
He will lift you up and place you on His shoulders.
He will carry you home."
-President Uchtdorf
I know that Christ knows how we feel and when we're too tired or when we stop believing in ourselves, Christ doesn't and he helps us get back home.
Love, Zahaia
